The KONUS L-adapter is an adapter with a quarter-inch threaded mount for mounting binoculars on a photo tripod. Despite its elegant shape, the L-adapter is sufficiently rigid and can withstand up to 3 kg of weight.
The adapter is designed for use with massive field or astronomical binoculars that do not have a built-in tripod mount. In addition, a tripod and L-adapter are necessary accessories for observing in any, not necessarily heavy, binoculars with a magnification of > 10x. The fact is that when observing "hands-on" at high magnification, it is difficult to fix the image due to the slightest, constantly present hand tremor.
Thanks to the standard 1/4" thread, the adapter fits most tripods, and installing binoculars with it takes very little time.
