Description of the 18650 Fenix ARB-L18 battery (3400mAh):

The ARB-L18-3400 model is a lithium-ion battery with excellent performance characteristics. It accumulates 3400 mAh, which allows you to increase the battery life of the flashlights compared to using previous versions of batteries of this brand of the same format.
ARB-L18 is well protected from all kinds of damage and malfunctions. There are several protection mechanisms in this battery. They are built into the ends, as well as inside the case. Therefore, the battery will not be damaged if it falls. It is also protected from overheating. To relieve excess gas pressure inside the battery, there are special holes on its case, which are covered with a porous material that prevents dirt and dust from getting inside.
In addition, such batteries practically do not discharge during storage, are devoid of the memory effect, and cannot be charged or discharged too much. During 500 complete cycles, a slight decrease in the initial capacity of the battery is permissible. In the future, the battery can be used as long as it properly performs its functions. If the charge level has dropped significantly, the battery should be replaced with a new one.
