Description of the 18650 Fenix battery (3400 mAh) micro usb charging:
The Fenix battery is designed to power various electronics that consume a large amount of charge. This includes both household appliances and branded LED flashlights compatible with 18650 form factor batteries.
ARB-L18-3400U has a capacity of 3400 mAh, and the amount of stored power is 12.24 Wh. The nominal output voltage of the battery is 3.6 V.
Thanks to numerous charge/discharge cycles (about 500 cycles) and immunity to the memory effect, the accessory lasts for at least 1 year without losing its initial capacity. The model continues to work stably even under temperature extremes, therefore it is suitable for use with portable equipment.
The battery case has a Micro-USB charging port, so the accessory can be charged directly from the mains (using a USB cable and adapter) or using a charger for this. When using a charger, the recommended current is 1A. The maximum allowable value is 2A.
When charging starts via the integrated port, a small indicator on the battery case is activated. The indicator can be lit in two colors:
- Red battery is charging;
- Blue battery is fully charged and ready for use.
In order to extend the battery life, it is necessary to charge the battery to 100% once every three months if it is not used for more than 3 months.
The 18650 battery case is made of steel, which reduces the risk of explosion caused by impact in the event of a fall. A protection system is built into the accessory on the anode side. The battery has multi-stage protection against overcharging, overdischarging, short circuit. PTC protection is also provided, which prevents the battery from overheating. In the event of gas accumulation inside the structure, it is gradually discharged through special holes, which avoids swelling of the case.
The dimensions of the ARB-L18-3400U are 70 x 18.6 millimeters. The accessory weighs exactly 50 grams.
