Of particular note is the revolutionary arrangement of optical elements Edge To Edge System, which made it possible to achieve a perfectly flat field of view without geometric distortions, and the use of UHD glass in lenses with ultra-low dispersion, which completely eliminates color (chromatic) distortions. Image brightness and accurate color reproduction are achieved, not least, thanks to the application of improved multilayer illumination of the optics Advanced Fully Multi-Coating, and phase-correcting and dielectric coating of the prisms ESP Dielectric Coating.
The successful arrangement of optical elements made it possible to create binoculars with a large eye relief, a wide field of view and a minimum focusing distance of only 2 meters, while not losing image quality that meets the highest standards of sports optics.
The strong and reliable magnesium housing in rubber trim, protective hydrophobic coating of the lenses XPL Protective Coating, sealing according to the IPX7 standard and filling with inert argon make the Athlon Cronus G2 UHD 10x42 binoculars immune to weather vagaries, accidental impacts or scratches. The clear operation of mechanical components, a large focusing drum and solid profiled knurling on the control elements allow you to quickly, smoothly and accurately adjust the binoculars for observations. The diopter correction mechanism is located in the center in front of the focusing drum and is equipped with a lock-fixing device, which allows you to make all basic adjustments with one finger and not accidentally lose the settings during observations. The convenience of use is facilitated by the modern shape of the body with the upper hinge bridge Top Hinge, retractable eyepiece frames, and lens caps secured with straps to the body to prevent accidental loss.
Each Athlon Midas G2 UHD 10x42 binocular has a serial number, which allows for better quality control.
