Description of the Delta Forest II 12x50 Binoculars
The Delta Forest II 12x50 binoculars are designed for people who need high magnification to observe objects from a considerable distance. Due to the relatively small diameter of the exit pupil, this model is better suited for daytime observations than for nighttime ones.
In the entire Delta Optical Forest II series, the optical system of the binoculars consists of 8 elements arranged in 6 groups, and the design uses high-quality roof prisms made of phase-corrected BaK4 glass, the reflecting surfaces of which are coated with silver, which provides an exceptionally clear and bright image. In addition, in the Forest II models, all active optical surfaces of the lenses are coated with a high-quality multi-layer FMC coating. Thanks to them, the binoculars are characterized by high light transmission. The inner surfaces of the tubes prevent unwanted reflections in the image.
All Forest II binoculars have a central wheel for smooth focusing and individual diopter adjustment in the right eyepiece. The rubber retractable eyecups are adjustable and allow you to adjust to the individual needs of the user. Forest II binoculars withstand even the harshest weather conditions. The sealed housing of the binoculars allows you to use them freely in wet areas and in the rain. Forest II binoculars can withstand immersion in water for 5 minutes to a depth of 1 m, and nitrogen filling of the structure prevents fogging of the optics inside the housing.
The big advantage of the Delta Forest II 12x50 is its compactness and low weight. All Forest II binoculars with 50 mm lenses have the same dimensions of 165 133 60 mm. Thus, they are the perfect compromise between small 42mm objective class binoculars and much larger and heavier models with 56-63mm objectives.
