The patented multilayer coatings with improved dielectric effect EMD on all optical surfaces are a special coating process that can be applied in a particularly thin and uniform layer due to static loading on the surface of the coating. This is a process developed by the American company Explore Scientific to achieve the highest possible light transmission and high contrast, as well as to suppress unwanted reflections.
Optics
Enjoy high-contrast, high-resolution images. The design of this model uses roof prisms with Phase Coating and Dielectric Coating multilayer reflective coating, which improves light transmission and, therefore, makes color rendering and the transmitted image brighter and more contrasty. The lenses are made of high-quality BaK-4 glass. All optical surfaces are coated with a multilayer anti-reflective coating. The optics are characterized by a high light transmission coefficient. Explore Scientific G400 10x50 WP Phase Coating binoculars do not distort the perspective and provide a clear, sharp and well-detailed image of a distant object in natural colors.
This model has a wide field of view of 108 m by 1000 m, which is especially convenient for observation observations. The central focusing drum is large enough to adjust the sharpness with gloves. The large exit pupil allows you to use the binoculars without removing your glasses, sunglasses or regular ones. The rotating and sliding eyecups make it possible to choose the optimal position of the binoculars relative to your eyes.
Housing
The housing is made of durable and lightweight polycarbonate reinforced with fiberglass. The rubber coating ensures a secure grip during mobile observations and cushions impacts. The binoculars lie securely in your hands and do not slip. Nitrogen filling prevents condensation from forming on the lenses from the inside. Thanks to the sealed design, the binoculars can withstand immersion in water to a depth of up to 1 meter. For long-term observations, it is recommended to mount the binoculars on a tripod.
