KONUS TITANIUM OH 10x42– high-brightness roof binoculars of lightweight design on open hinges. Ready to work from sunset to dawn, it forms a bright, full-color and detailed image both when observing in open spaces and when hunting in the forest.
The connection of the tubes on open hinges significantly reduces the weight of the binoculars, practically without reducing the rigidity of the structure. In addition, the holding area increases: each of the tubes can be completely closed by hand.
For sealing and increasing impact resistance, the body of the TITANIUM OH binoculars is covered with a rubber-like material with corrugations on the sides of the tubes. In any weather, the coating has a "room" temperature and does not slip, even when wet during rain. The inner space of the tubes is filled with inert gas to prevent fogging of the optics.
The model has a central focusing mechanism with a precise drum-type regulator that rotates smoothly. There is a diopter adjustment ring on the right eyepiece, indispensable for users with a significant difference in the visual acuity of the eyes.
The prisms are coated with the proprietary KONUS coating to improve color rendering and phase shift correction. The optical surfaces of the lenses have a multilayer emerald-violet tint, which reduces light reflection losses. The inner surface of the tubes is treated with a knurled tool to neutralize parasitic microglares.
Twist-Up (rotating-retractable) eyecups are fixed in 3 positions, their height varies within 0-10 mm. They eliminate lateral illumination as much as possible when fully extended. The pupil distance of the KONUS TITANIUM OH binoculars is 16 mm, which ensures the ease of use of the device, including for those who constantly wear glasses (for example, to correct astigmatism).
