Praktica Pioneer R 12x50 WP Phase Coated Gen. II – the second generation of reliable and high-power binoculars with high-brightness optics with two types of coatings to improve light transmission, which improves visibility in twilight, making the picture brighter and more contrasting. This model is perfect for solving tactical tasks in the field, aiming weapons at the shooting range, hunting, fishing, hiking, observing wild animals, studying birds, detailed study of objects located at a considerable distance from the user and much more. Excellent image quality is provided by lenses with full multi-layer illumination and prisms made of BaK-4 glass, which have a phase-control and silver coating, which places this model in the highest class of optics. Thanks to the large lenses, the binoculars form a bright picture both in daylight and at dusk. The optics collect light well, make the image bright and saturated during twilight observations, remove parasitic glare and distortion. The picture is clear and detailed from the entire field of view. This model combines high-quality optics and outstanding performance characteristics. The optics work effectively at dusk, in low cloud cover, in rain and at extreme temperatures. The binoculars are completely waterproof, filled with nitrogen and are not afraid of the harshest operating conditions, unpretentious and trouble-free. Optical system
The optical scheme is based on elements made of high-quality BaK-4 glass, which ensures the absence of image distortion and correct color reproduction. Additional phase-control and silver reflective coatings improve color rendering, remove parasitic glare, and make the transmitted image brighter and clearer. All optical elements of the binoculars are covered with multilayer coating, which minimizes light loss inside the binoculars and contributes to maximum brightness and contrast of the image. The binoculars create a very bright and clear image and work effectively in low light. 12x magnification is enough to examine distant objects in detail, and the field of view is sufficient for observing fast-moving objects.
Design features
The impact-resistant polycarbonate body of the binoculars is covered with anti-slip rubber to improve grip and protect the binoculars from mechanical damage and dust. Inside, the binoculars are filled with nitrogen - a safe colorless gas that protects the optics from condensation. Thanks to 100% water protection class IPX7, the device is not afraid of even short-term immersion to a depth of up to 1 meter.
Convenience and ease of adjustment
The binoculars are easy to adapt to any user. It allows you to adjust the distance between the pupils, precisely adjust the focus using the central drum, adjust the diopters on the right eyepiece and even choose the best position of the rotating and retractable eyecups. The large exit pupil allows you to comfortably observe while wearing glasses - regular or sunglasses. If necessary, the binoculars can be mounted on a tripod. For ease of carrying during observations, the binoculars are equipped with a wide neoprene neck strap, and to protect against dirt and damage during storage and transportation - a hard case. For additional protection of the objective lenses and glasses, the kit includes removable covers. The lens caps are securely fastened with rubber bands, they will not fall off or get lost, but can be removed if necessary.
