Bronyx Class 3 armor plates are lightweight armor elements designed to provide reliable protection. Made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), which gives the plates lightness and high protective capacity while maintaining a small thickness (23-24 mm).
Bronyx plates have a Shooter's Cut shape with an anatomical bend in two planes using 3D multi-curved technology, to ensure maximum fit to the body and comfort during daily use.
Bronyx 3 class is designed to protect against:
- 7N6 bullets (5.45×39 mm PS) and 57-N-231 (7.62×39 mm PS);
- fragments, shrapnel and ricochets.
According to DSTU 8782:2018, they withstand 3 hits at a distance of 10 meters.
The plates are available in three sizes:
- M (250x300 mm) - weight 1.4 kg, chest circumference up to 110 cm. Suitable for standard plate carriers.
- L (260x330 mm) - weight 1.58 kg, chest circumference 111-118 cm. Recommended for plate carriers of sizes L/XL.
- XL (275x350 mm) - weight 1.77 kg, chest volume from 120 cm. Designed for large XL plate carriers.
Recommendations
To increase the level of comfort and reduce the deformation caused by obstacles, it is recommended to use a damper between the plate and the chest, if the body armor does not have a damper lining.
