Bronyx 5 protection class armor plates are made of silicon carbide (SiC) composite and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and provide reliable protection against serious damage, including armor-piercing incendiary bullets (57-BZ-231, 7.62×39 BZ) and 57-N-232s bullets (7.62×54 LPS), as well as fragments, ricochets and shrapnel. Corresponds to the 5th protection class according to DSTU 8782:2018.

Composite material: Silicon carbide (SiC) combined with a NMPE substrate.

Protective mechanism: Ceramics (SiC) destroys the bullet core, and the polyethylene substrate absorbs residual energy and prevents the penetration of fragments.
The Shooter's Cut plate with beveled corners and anatomical bending in 2 planes using 3D multi curved technology improves the comfort of daily use of the armor plate. This shape optimally follows the contours of the chest and ensures a tight fit to the body and even weight distribution.
The plates are available in sizes:

M (250×305 mm) — weight 2.49 kg, chest volume up to 110 cm, suitable for most standard plate carriers.

L (260×330 mm) — weight 2.9 kg, chest volume 111-118 cm, recommended for plate carriers L/XL.

XL (275×350 mm) — weight 3.38 kg, chest volume from 120 cm, designed for large XL plate carriers.
It is recommended to use an additional damper to reduce the impact deformation when hit by high-energy bullets, such as 7.62×54 LPS, if it is not provided in the body armor cover.
