Titanium-ceramic armor plates 250x300 Level 6+ "anti-Igolnik"

We present a revolutionary development - an armor plate capable of withstanding damage from the 7N39 "Igolnik" PPBS armor-piercing cartridge. These plates also have a unique "multi-hit" property - they withstand automatic bursts without causing the fighter any armor-piercing injuries.

Titanium-ceramic armor plates "Hyperion" belong to the 6+ protection level according to the DSTU standard and are designed specifically for assault groups and combat operations at short distances.

Protection of the fighter from multiple hits - up to 10 hits of armor-piercing B-32 bullets of 7.62x54R caliber from PKM machine guns, SVD or Mosin rifles from a distance of 10 meters. At the same time, the fragments and impact force of the bullet do not cause damage due to the minimal deformation of the plate - up to 15 mm (which corresponds to the thickness of the damping layer of the Plastoon body armor). This significantly exceeds the NATO standards (NIJ IV STD 0101.06), which allow deformation of up to 44 mm, which often leads to the need for urgent hospitalization.

The reinforced anti-fragmentation layer prevents damage to the plate from impacts or small fragments, and also eliminates the risk of bullet fragments ricocheting.

The plate retains its protective properties under extreme conditions: when heated to +60°C, frozen to -40°C, and in a wet state.

Even after the ceramic layer is destroyed, the plate retains a class 2 protective level.

Hyperion 6+ class titanium-ceramic plates withstand multiple hits (Multihit):

• B-32 bullets from a Mosin rifle from a distance of 10 meters.
• Hit at a distance 1 cm from the edge of the plate.
• Bullets hit at a distance of 3 cm from each other.
• Hit by the 7N39 "Igolnik" PPBS cartridge.
