Kiborg Modular X-1 body armor with Militex Class 2 ballistic protection is an army vest from Kiborg with an increased protection area, designed according to the prototype of US Army combat body armor. The kit consists of eight modules: front and back parts, two camber bands, two shoulder straps and additional bondage (two parts).

The vest has convenient adjustment, orthopedic inserts on the back and front. Additional fasteners are provided to protect the neck, shoulders, intestines, lower back and groin. And the belt (bondage), which can be purchased additionally in the kit, will add convenience and comfort when wearing. The Kiborg vest can be used together with the required type of protection depending on the combat missions:

• with soft ballistic packages of the 1st or 2nd protection class, which cover almost the entire torso area;
• with armor plates ranging in size from Medium 31.8x24.1 cm to Extra Large 35.5x28 cm;
• with soft ballistic packages (chest + back + 2 side camber bands) and armor plates at the same time!

The Kiborg bulletproof vest is not just protection. It is the embodiment of quality, attention to every detail and reliability in every seam. Each element is designed by designers for maximum protection, comfort and durability. Materials:

• The main fabric is Cordura 1000D 380 g/m² with NIR impregnation, which makes the vest less visible in night vision devices. It has a double polyurethane coating for protection against moisture and lubricants, does not support combustion, does not wear out, does not fade in the sun, retains its properties in extreme conditions.
Wear-resistant tactical 3D Spirit mesh made of nylon threads, combining shock-absorbing properties, high strength and durability.

• Polyamide slings that do not stretch and have a high melting point.
• Reinforced nylon threads.
• The main design feature of the Kiborg development is the increased protection surface compared to analogues, which, in combination with ballistic packages, provides maximum planar anti-fragmentation protection.

Design features:

• The front of the body armor cover is equipped with an enlarged MOLLE panel with five straps in height and 8 slots in width. This allows you to place up to four pouches for one or two magazines. A reinforced Velcro panel with slots in the upper part allows you to place patches, administrative pouches or phone mounts.
• The back of the body armor has an increased number of MOLLE positions for more equipment. The evacuation handle is reinforced with special fasteners and is fixed with Velcro.
• Internal 3D mesh cushioning inserts provide cushioning and good ventilation.
• Anatomical straps with the possibility of replacing soft pads or installing ballistic protection, have double adjustment with a valve fixation and additional MOLLE for pouches for a radio or a tourniquet. Attachments for neck and shoulder protection are provided.
• Removable camber bands have pockets for ballistic bags and size locks covered with soft 3D mesh cushioning pads.
• The top quick-releases are placed closer to the shoulder, freeing up more space for the butt of the weapon. The side quick-release modules are partially hidden under the protective strip.
• Inside, the vest has two separate pockets for a stove and a ballistic bag with adjustable straps.
• All important parts of the plate carrier and the MOLLE interface are reinforced with zigzag fasteners for reliability.
• Additionally, you can purchase a two-piece bondage belt with a compensatory elastic band in a cover that is attached with Velcro.

• We also test our Class 2 ballistic packages according to international NATO STANAG V-50 standards, where the penetration rate is exactly +-733 m/s. In addition to bullets and fragments specified in DSTU and STANAG, it protects against small fragments and secondary impact elements.

Recommendations for use: the Kiborg bulletproof vest is recommended to be used together with a set of Militex soft ballistic packages of the 1st or 2nd protection class, which consists of four elements: the front and back parts and two packages for chamber bands. In general, the vest can be used as a basic option or turned into a full-fledged body armor by adding individual protection modules:
