The Fenix E06R LED flashlight is a functional keychain model that combines the capabilities of a handheld and signaling device.
Despite its miniature dimensions of 69 x 29 x 16 mm, this flashlight is equipped with a multitude of emitters to generate light of various types, relevant for everyday use and emergency situations:
- 2 white Luminus SST12 LEDs for classic lighting with a color temperature of 6500K;
- Luminus SST-08-UV LED with 365 nm UV radiation , which helps in determining the authenticity of banknotes and documents, detecting leakage of chemical liquids and fungal diseases on the skin of pets;
- Class 1 red laser with a power of ≤ 0.39 mW , which acts as a light pointer.
The functionality is added by the colored backlight around the front control button. You can choose the type of backlight between colored RGB and flashing options of red, blue colors and their combinations and use the model to provide light signals that are visible from a long distance.
Operating modes and control features
The Fenix E06R flashlight has 10 modes, which are divided into groups by lighting type. Each group is controlled by a separate switch: the main (front) one allows you to adjust the white light modes, and the two side ones adjust the operation in UV light and laser mode.
The mode parameters are as follows:
- High: 700 lm – 3100 cd – 1 hour 20 minutes – 110 m;
- Medium: 150 lm – 645 cd – 2 h 50 min – 50 m;
- Low: 30 lm – 130 cd – 12 h – 23 m;
- Economical: 5 lm – 20 cd – 60 h – 9 m;
- RGB: 0.5 lm;
- Flashing red: 1 lm;
- Flashing blue: 1 lm;
- Flashing red + blue: 1 lm.
Please note! The operating time in High mode is indicated taking into account the duration of the glow in a less bright mode, which is activated after the overheating protection is triggered . The protection is activated when the temperature of the electronics reaches 65°C.
Power source
Fenix E06R is powered by a built-in 750mAh battery. It charges via USB-C port in 2 hours from 0% to 100%.
You can monitor the charge level using the color indicator around the main control button. It makes it easy to determine when the flashlight is charged and ready to use.
Physical parameters
The all-metal body is made on a high-precision CNC machine with attention to small details: all corners of the shell are rounded for easy holding, and the joints are sealed according to the highest IP66 standard, preventing moisture from entering the interior during operation in bad weather or in the event of a drop in water. The metal is additionally anodized for corrosion protection.
Ultra-lightweight (54g) and versatile carrying and application options make the Fenix E06R a versatile light source for any occasion. You can use it as a handheld flashlight, attach it to your clothes or bag with the clip, hang it on your keychain or belt with the included metal ring. The tail of the case also has a built-in magnet for attaching the device to a metal surface.
