Fenix HL17R headlamp, white

The Fenix HL17R flashlight offers unique functionality thanks to its unusual emitter arrangement format. The optics are based on a white Luminus SST20 LED , surrounded by additional colored emitters . This combination increases the versatility of the model: a classic white beam for work light, colored modes for individual scenarios when specific lighting is needed for signaling or just for mood.

The color temperature of white light is in the range of 6500–7500K , which increases contrast and accurately highlights the contours of illuminated objects. Such a beam is relevant for situations where particularly bright illumination is required - from camping and evening walks to household chores and outdoor sports.

For quick on and off, there is a gesture control function . The flashlight responds to a wave of your hand in front of the lens, allowing you to work with the light without interacting with switches.

The interface is divided into 2 groups depending on the type of emitter used.

Main white group (White outputs)

• High: 500 lm – 2630 cd – 2 h 50 min – 100 m;

Please note! The operating time in high mode is indicated taking into account the duration of the glow in less bright modes - the flashlight automatically reduces the beam power if the overheating protection is triggered.

The Fenix HL17R control system consists of an electronic button on the top of the housing and a front rotary switch.

There is also the option to lock/unlock the flashlight to prevent accidental activation of the light during storage.

Power source

The flashlight is powered by a 1000 mAh lithium-ion battery . The operating voltage is 3.0–4.2 V with an allowable limit of 2.8–4.2 V, which ensures stable operation of the device in all modes. The charge level indicator reports on the battery status and low charge.

Charging is via the USB Type-C port using the included cable. Full charging time: 1 hour 20 minutes.

Physical parameters

The case is made of plastic with a polycarbonate lens, which makes the design lightweight (only 65 g with battery) and at the same time resistant to everyday loads, including a fall from a height of 1 m. The tightness corresponds to the IP66 class: the shell is completely dustproof and withstands heavy rain and splashes. The USB-C charging port has internal moisture protection.

You can use the Fenix HL17R as a classic headlamp with a two-piece elastic band that distributes pressure and reduces point load on the forehead. The device also provides mounting on a metal surface using a built-in magnet , and the rear quick-release panel works as a clip-on clip for fixing to clothing.
