Fenix HM55R headlamp, pink

The Fenix HM55R headlamp is a versatile model for camping, construction site work, evening runs, and other outdoor activities.

Under the polycarbonate lens are three LEDs that generate light of different types and purposes:

• Luminus SST25 (≈6500K) with focused long-range beam;
• Luminus SST20V-Ra90 (≈5000K) with wide floodlighting;
• Red diode 2835 for soft illumination of the near distance while preserving night vision.

The service life of each LED is 50,000 hours, and the maximum brightness reaches 1200 lumens .

The functionality of the flashlight is complemented by an intelligent proximity sensor . It is triggered if the distance between the model's head and the illuminated object is ≤60 mm for 1.5 seconds. In this case, the light brightness is automatically reduced to 30 lumens to avoid the object from catching fire due to heating under the influence of a high-power beam.

The Fenix HM55R has 9 modes available, divided into groups by light type.

Long-range beam group

• Turbo: 1200 lm - 7453 cd - 2 h 10 min - 175 m;
• High: 350 lm – 1932 cd – 6 h 30 min – 88 m;
• Medium: 130 lm – 724 cd – 12 h 40 min – 54 m;
• Low: 30 lm – 175 cd – 47 h 18 min – 27 m.

Group with spotlight

• High: 350 lm – 948 cd – 3 h 40 min – 62 m;
• Medium: 70 lm – 145 cd – 17 h 40 min – 24 m;
• Low: 5 lm – 10 cd – 141 h 10 min – 6 m.

Group with red lighting

• Constant: 5 lm – 5 cd – 43 h – 4 m;
• Flashing: 5 lm – 86 hours.

Please note! Overheating protection reduces the brightness of the light in Turbo mode if the temperature of the electronics inside reaches the dangerous mark of 55°C. The operating time in Turbo mode is indicated taking into account the activation of the protection.

A single electronic side button is responsible for control. Simple presses and short holds are enough to quickly switch between groups and change modes.

The mode memory function remembers the last level used (except red).

Power source

The optimal power source is the ARB-L18-1600 Li-ion battery (18350 form factor) from the kit. The element is charged via the USB Type-C port built into the flashlight body within 2.5 hours at 5 V/1 A. The current battery status will be indicated by a color indicator.

In an emergency, other batteries can be used: 16340 or CR123A.

Physical parameters

The case can withstand a drop from a height of 2 meters and is sealed according to the IP68 standard - the maximum level that guarantees the device's operation even when immersed in water to a depth of 2 meters.

The flashlight weighs 105g including battery and headband. The headband has a perforated design for breathability and a comfortable fit on the head without squeezing. You can adjust the beam direction by tilting the device in the mount.
