Explosion-proof headlamp Fenix WH35RE

The Fenix WH35RE headlamp with explosion-proof design is designed for work in areas with a risk of explosion of gases and dust-air mixtures at facilities of the petrochemical, energy, metallurgy, pulp and paper and textile industries. The model is certified according to IECEx, ATEX and GRGT standards.

The light source is two CREE XP-G3 LEDs with a lifespan of 50,000 hours and a comfortable color temperature of about 5000K. The integral diffusing lens provides wide, even light without glare even at the maximum brightness of 280 lumens .

Operating modes and control features

The modes are divided into two groups: "Basic" for regular use and "Extreme" for emergency scenarios.

Main group

• High: 280 lm – 117 cd – 6 h – 21 m;
• Medium: 100 lm – 45 cd – 14 h – 13 m;
• Low: 30 lm – 12 cd – 64 h – 7 m.

Extreme group

• Economical: 5 lm – 3 cd – 280 h – 3 m;

One button is responsible for control: turning on by holding for 0.5 s and short presses to switch brightness levels.

Please note! The Fenix WH35RE flashlight has overheating protection. The operating time in High mode is calculated in the sum of the operating time at lower power, to which the system automatically switches in case of excessive heating of the electronics.

Power source

The WH35RE is powered by a special explosion-proof Li-ion battery Fenix ARB-L21-3000Ex form factor 21700 (3000 mAh) included in the kit. Charging is carried out via a USB-C port with internal moisture protection. To comply with safety requirements during charging, it is necessary to use the included adapter.

The operating temperature range is approximately -35 to +45°C, covering most outdoor and indoor production applications. There is a power-on charge level indication and a low voltage warning.

Physical parameters

The housing is made of A6061-T6 aluminum alloy with hard anodizing , which increases resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage when falling from a height of 2 m. The IP66 water and dust protection class provides for operation in difficult conditions, including high humidity.

The flexible headband has a length adjuster and maintains a stable fit on the helmet or forehead. The removable clip expands the attachment methods: on the headband, pocket, sling or chest strap.
