Fenix PD35R ACE is a next-generation tactical flashlight. It is part of the special Advanced Command Edition series, designed for police officers, military personnel, rescuers and professional tourists.
The flashlight uses a Luminus SFT40 LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours and a color temperature of 6500K. The concentrated cold white beam of 2,000 lumens illuminates up to 380 m away without glare and distortion of the shades of illuminated objects.
A key feature is flexible mode customization . With just a few clicks, you can adjust the interface to your needs and choose the modes that are a priority for you.
Operating modes and control features
The interface is presented in 7 modes . Among them, 5 options with constant lighting and 2 flashing for emergency situations, for example, giving light signals of distress or disorienting the enemy.
- Turbo: 2000 lm - 33872 cd - 2 h 50 min - 380 m;
- High: 1000 lm – 15964 cd – 3 h 20 min – 252 m;
- Medium: 350 lm – 5456 cd – 7 h 16 min – 147 m;
- Low: 50 lm – 829 cd – 45 h 24 min – 57 m;
- Eco: 1 lm - 18 cd - 720 h - 8 m;
- Stroboscope: 2000 lm;
- SOS: 50 lm.
Please note! The specified operating time in Turbo mode is measured taking into account the glow time in lower brightness modes. The power is automatically reduced when the electronics become excessively hot and the overheating protection is triggered.
The control system includes 3 switches : a tail switch for quick access to the light and side switches for setting modes.
Using the SET button, you can fix a certain set of modes for permanent use:
- Option 1: Turbo + Strobe + SOS;
- Option 2: Turbo + Medium + Low + Strobe + SOS;
- Option 3: All 7 modes.
Power source
Fenix PD35R ACE comes with a proprietary 18650 Li-ion battery. Its 4000 mAh capacity is enough for uninterrupted operation of the flashlight for 90 days without recharging .
The head features a USB-C charging port , allowing you to charge the battery without removing it from the device. One of the control buttons has an LED indicator that displays the remaining charge level. In addition, you can use the flashlight even while charging, ensuring bright lighting at a critical moment.
The operating voltage is in the range of 2.8–6.0 V. If necessary, the battery can be replaced with 2 CR123A lithium batteries.
Physical parameters
The aluminum body of the Fenix PD35R ACE has a non-slip knurling for a firm grip in the palm of your hand, especially if you are wearing gloves. The design does not oxidize, does not scratch, is not afraid of falls from a height of 1.5 m and most importantly - it is sealed according to the IP68 standard, withstanding operation even in the rain.
The tail has a removable clip for attaching to clothing. The included holster offers an alternative way to wear it on your belt.
You can expand the functionality of the flashlight with additional accessories : weapon mounts ALG-00, ALG-15, ALG-16, remote button AER-02 V2.0, light filter AOF-S+ V2.0, diffusion filter AOD-S V2.0 and signal baton AOT-S+.
