Model control

Control is carried out using a double tactical tail switch. The buttons are made so that it is convenient to control with both hands. To turn the flashlight on or off, you need to click on any of the buttons. When the flashlight is off, press and hold any switch for at least a second. To select modes: from the on state of the flashlight Press and hold any switch and simultaneously click the second. This will allow you to move between Turbo →High levels. When starting the required mode, release the button and the brightness will be set.

To activate the instant strobe mode: with the light on, press and hold any button for more than half a second. This will allow you to enter Strobe mode. To return to general mode, release the switch. To lock the flashlight: with the light off, simultaneously Press and hold both buttons for five seconds. The indicator will blink white twice to show that the model is locked. To unlock: simultaneously Press and hold both buttons for one second. The flashlight will unlock and turn on in the mode that was previously used. In the locked state, a single press or press of any button turns on the battery charge indicator. The indicator flashes red and green alternately to indicate the lock status.

There is also a mode memory option. It remembers the last mode that was selected before turning off. After turning on, this mode is started.

There are three brightness modes in total: Turbo, High, Strobe. The highest luminous flux is 1200 lumens. In High mode, the brightness of the light is 350 lumens. Glow duration: in Turbo mode one hour, in High mode - 2 hours. The beam distance at Turbo level reaches 210 meters, and at High level - 110 meters. Light intensity: in Turbo mode it is 11000 candelas, in High mode - 3000 candelas. Strobe: luminous flux is 1200 lumens.

Where the Fenix ARB-L18-1100p lithium-ion battery was used at a temperature of 21 +-3 degrees Celsius and air humidity of 50% -80%. The actual luminescence indicators of the model may vary depending on various external conditions and the battery used.

There is an option to indicate the degree of charge. The charge level is displayed every time you turn it on for three seconds. If it is green, this means that the battery charge level is 100% -85%. When the green light is flashing, the charge reaches 85% -50%. If the red light is on, this means that the charge has dropped to 50% -25%. If it flashes red, the charge level reaches 25% -1%, which is critically low, and you need to charge the battery.

The model is intelligently protected from overheating. If the case temperature is 60 degrees and above, the brightness is reduced by default to allow the case to cool down. When the temperature drops below 60 degrees, you can return to the maximum brightness modes.
