The Fenix GL06-365 model belongs to pistol flashlights, which are a necessary component of the equipment of law enforcement officers in case they have to patrol the area in the dark. The Fenix GL06-365 can be installed on various pistols, including the SIG-Sauer P365, P365X, P365-380, P365XL, P365 SAS and other models with guides of similar dimensions. To attach the flashlight to the pistol, you need to open the QD lever, insert the structure into the slot and close the lever. After that, it is enough to adjust the clamping bolt of the guide to tightly fix the accessory on the weapon and prevent it from falling in case of recoil during shooting.

Operating modes

The user has access to a minimum set of a pair of modes: the main one with constant light and an auxiliary strobe. Depending on which battery is installed in the flashlight (Li-ion battery or CR123A battery), the light parameters will change.

• With Li-ion battery: 600 lumens – 4880 candelas – 50 minutes – 140 meters.
• With CR123A battery: 400 lumens – 1 hour 30 minutes.

Please note that the operating time at maximum lighting power is measured together with the duration of operation at reduced brightness levels, which are activated as a result of the operation of the overheating protection board.

Control features

Taking into account the specifics of a weapon flashlight, this model is equipped with a two-way switch so that the user can turn the device on and off while holding the gun with both the right and left hands.

• Instantaneous activation: hold any switch pressed for 1 second. To turn the flashlight off, release the switch.
• Enabling constant lighting mode: press the right or left switch once. If you press any switch again, the light will turn off.
• Turning on Strobe mode: pressing one switch + clicking the second switch.

Power source

The Fenix GL06-365 comes with a 16340 Li-ion battery, which is manufactured by the brand itself, taking into account the features of branded LED flashlights. The cell capacity is 700 mAh, and the nominal voltage is 3.6 V. But the main advantage of the battery is its resistance to the "memory effect."

The flashlight does not have a charging port. Instead, the manufacturer built a Micro-USB port into the battery itself and supplemented it with a color indicator, which allows you to determine when the charging process is complete:

• Red indicator: the battery is charging;
• Green indicator: the charge has reached 100%.

The battery from the set provides the flashlight with maximum power. But if you want to extend the device's operating time, you can replace the branded battery with a CR123A lithium battery, which increases the glow time by 40 minutes.

The intelligent system in the model independently adjusts the light brightness level based on the amount of charge in the battery. When the battery voltage drops below 3.2 V, the lighting device starts to signal this to the user with three consecutive flashes every 2 minutes.

Physical parameters

Fenix GL06-365 has high protection against mechanical impact thanks to the one-piece body made of anodized aluminum A6061-T6 — a stainless alloy with a shock resistance of 1 meter. Anodized treatment prevents metal oxidation if drops of oil, acid or salt water get on the surface.

Inside the structure there is a thin rubber seal that prevents water from getting inside and disrupting the operation of the electronics. The moisture protection class is IPX7.

The metal body measuring 61 x 28.15 x 23.5 millimeters weighs 69.4 grams with the battery. The set includes a number of small accessories that are delivered in a box measuring 117 x 104 x 37 millimeters.
