Description of the Fenix E03R V2.0 flashlight:
The Fenix E03R V2.0 flashlight is designed for everyday wear and allows you to illuminate a distance of up to 90 meters in the most powerful mode. The model is an update of the popular E03R keychain flashlight, which the manufacturer equipped with a more capacious battery. This solution allowed to extend the maximum operating time of the flashlight to 30 hours. In addition, its power has increased by 92%, which now amounts to 500 lumens.
The updated keychain flashlight is equipped with modern protective mechanisms, including the patented IOP protection scheme. It is responsible for controlling the temperature of the electronics and reducing the brightness if the model operates at maximum power for a long time and heats up to 60°C.
Operating modes
E03R V2.0 has an expanded set of modes, comparable to the functionality of full-format flashlights. Among the seven lighting variations, there are both white and red modes, covering all the needs that the user may have when performing household tasks or during outdoor activities.
- HIGH: 500 lumens / 2082 candelas / 90 meters / 1 hour 20 minutes;
- MED: 150 lumens / 630 candelas / 50 meters / 2 hours;
- LOW: 30 lumens / 127 candelas / 20 meters / 6 hours 35 minutes;
- ECO: 5 lumens / 20 candelas / 9 meters / 30 hours;
- RED: 5 lumens;
- RED FLASH: 5 lumens;
- BREATHING LIGHT: 1 lumen.
The electronic switch is located closer to the head of the case, so that the user can press it comfortably with his thumb. The button has a ribbed surface of a copper shade. To control it, it is enough to sequentially press the switch, changing the available brightness levels.
Power source
The power supply is integrated into the design of the flashlight. This is a lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 400 mAh. The battery has no "memory effect" and is resistant to both low and high temperatures.
The kit includes a USB cable that connects to the Type-C port. The battery status is displayed by an indicator integrated into the switch. After charging, it is necessary to close the port with a silicone plug to prevent water and small grains of sand from entering it.
Physical parameters
The all-metal case of the E03R V2.0 protects the device from malfunctions due to a fall from a height of one meter, and the tightness according to the IP66 standard allows you to use the flashlight during precipitation. The construction uses light and rust-proof metal - aviation aluminum with a hard coating in the form of anodizing.
The model is convenient to carry in the pocket of a bag or clothes, attach to the strap of a backpack or a bunch of keys, since the weight of the structure is only 30 grams. To do this, you can thread a lanyard or a metal ring from the kit into the tail hole. The length of the case is 52.5 millimeters, width - 26 millimeters, and thickness - 13 millimeters.
