Lamp control

It is controlled by turning the head part, you can do this with one hand. To turn on the Fenix E01 V2.0, you need to tighten the head part tightly, and if you need to turn it off, you need to unscrew it slightly. To select modes, you need to turn off the model for 1 second when the flashlight is on and then turn it on again. Modes: Minimum, Medium, Maximum.

• Maximum mode. At this level, the flashlight generates 100 lumens of lighting brightness. The duration of the glow reaches exactly 50 minutes, both when using alkaline batteries and with Ni-MH batteries. The distance that the beam can cover is 35 meters.
• Average mode. The brightness reaches 25 lumens, the glow time when using alkaline batteries is 4 hours 50 minutes, and with Ni-MH batteries - four and a half hours. The range in this mode is 19 meters.
• Minimum mode. Here the brightness is only five lumens. The flashlight works for 25 hours when using alkaline batteries, and for 23 hours with Ni-MH batteries. The beam range is 9 meters.

Please note that these model data were obtained experimentally in the laboratory. A Pairdeer Alkaline battery (in the set) was used, as well as a Ni-MH battery with a capacity of up to 750 milliampere-hours. The ambient temperature reached 21 +- 3 degrees Celsius, and the humidity - 50-80 percent. If the flashlight is used under different environmental conditions, its parameters may differ. It also matters what batteries you use.

The total operating time in Maximum mode is indicated taking into account the reduction in mode when the heating protection is triggered. Naturally, during operation, the product accumulates a significant amount of thermal energy. The case heats up, and this can become an obstacle during operation. To protect against overheating, there is an option to reduce the brightness by several lumens. After that, the temperature decreases, and after some time it is possible to use Maximum mode again.

It is very convenient to adjust the brightness of the model and the range, adjusting the flashlight to the tasks that are relevant at the moment.
