Lamp control

Fenix LD22 V2.0 is controlled using the rear and side buttons. The rear switch is tactical, and the side - functional. To instantly activate the flashlight, you need to press the tactical button, if you release it, the light will turn off. If you need to turn on the light for a longer time, then press the tactical switch completely. To turn off, press it again.

To select the lighting mode: from the on position of the flashlight, press the functional switch once. This way you will be able to move between the Eco→Low→Med→High→Turbo levels. Please note that the Turbo brightness mode cannot be used if the power source is an AA battery.

• In Med mode, the light output is 100 lumens, the duration of the glow is 5 hours 50 minutes (with AA batteries), 7 hours - with the ARB-L14-1100u battery. The beam distance is 76 meters. Light intensity: 1440 candela.
• Low mode: light brightness - 30 lumens, operating time - 19 hours 45 minutes (with AA batteries), 22 hours 20 minutes (with the ARB-L14-1100u battery), with a beam distance of 43 meters. The light intensity is 460 candelas.
• Eco mode: light brightness - two lumens, glow duration - 190 hours (with AA batteries), 220 hours (with ARB-L14-1100u battery). Beam range - 11 meters. The light flux intensity reaches 30 candelas.
• The group of flash modes - this includes Strobe and SOS. In Strobe mode, the light flux reaches 350 lumens, and together with the ARB-L14-1100u battery it is 800 lumens. SOS: brightness - 100 lumens, together with the ARB-L14-1100u battery it is also 100 lumens.
• It should be mentioned that these parameters of the flashlight were obtained during laboratory experiments. Where the Fenix ARB-L14-1100u branded battery and two Pairdeer AA alkaline batteries were used at a temperature of 21+-3 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 50% -80%. The actual luminous flux of the flashlight depends on the environmental conditions, as well as on which batteries are used.

* The model has an option for protecting the body from overheating. If the body temperature is 60 degrees and above, the brightness is reduced by default to cool the flashlight body. After that, when the temperature drops below 60 degrees, you can return to high brightness modes again.

Low voltage warning: if the battery voltage is less than three volts, a lower brightness level is turned on. When the voltage drops below three volts, the battery charge indicator will flash red three times every five minutes. This is to remind you to recharge or replace the battery. This function works exclusively with Fenix ARB-L14-1100u batteries.
