The Fenix PD35 V3. 0 flashlight is designed for tactical tasks. It belongs to a new generation of high-performance flashlights. The maximum brightness of the light reaches 1700 lumens, and the beam range is 357 meters. The flashlight uses a Luminus SFT40 diode, the service life of which is 50 thousand hours. The flashlight is powered by a 18650 lithium-ion battery, which is included in the kit. You can also use two CR123A lithium batteries.

A circuit with digital regulation is provided to ensure stable lighting. There is a function of indicating the flashlight's charge level and a low voltage notification. The flashlight is instantly turned on by a tactical switch located in the tail of the case. You can select different brightness levels using the side button. The quality of light is provided by a tempered ultra-transparent lens with an anti-glare coating.

Model control

Fenix PD35 V3.0 is controlled via the rear button and the one located on the side of the case. To turn on/off, press the tactical button (on the back), if you release it, the light will go out. Fully press the tactical switch to turn on the light for a long time, pressing it again will turn off the model.

To select a mode: when the device is on, press the function button (side) once, this will allow you to move between the Turbo →Eco →Low →Med →High levels. To switch to Strobe mode, when the light is on, press and hold the function switch for half a second. If you need to return to the previous mode, press this button again once.

The model has a mode memory function. This means that when you turn it on again, the mode that was used before turning it off will immediately be active. However, the function does not apply to the strobe mode.

Operating modes

• Turbo mode. The brightness of the lighting reaches 1700 lumens. Operating time - 1 hour 25 minutes. Beam range - 357 meters. Light intensity is 31,900 candelas.
• High mode. Luminous flux - 600 lumens, glow duration - 2 hours 35 minutes. Beam range is 216 meters. Luminous flux intensity - 11,700 candelas.
• Med mode. Luminous flux - 150 lumens, glow duration - eight and a half hours. Beam range reaches 109 meters. Luminous intensity - 3,000 candelas.
• Low mode. Light brightness - 50 lumens, operating duration - 26 hours and 25 minutes, lighting distance is 63 meters. Luminous flux intensity - 1,000 candelas.
• Eco mode. Light brightness - five lumens. Operating time - 230 hours. Beam distance - 20 meters. Light intensity - 100 candelas.
• Strobe mode. Brightness - 1700 lumens.

* The above luminescence indicators of the model were obtained during laboratory testing. Where the following conditions were: the temperature was about 21 + -3 degrees Celsius, humidity - about 50-80 percent. The Fenix ARB-L18-2600U battery was used. The actual operating parameters of the flashlight may vary depending on the external environmental conditions and which battery is used.

The flashlight is effectively protected from overheating of the case. During lighting, it accumulates a lot of thermal energy, which can interfere with the normal operation of the flashlight. Therefore, by default, when the temperature reaches 60 degrees and above, the brightness of the lighting drops. When the temperature drops below 60 degrees, you can return to the maximum mode again.

A low voltage warning option is also available here. When the voltage drops below a certain level, the brightness is reduced. At the Eco level, a discharged flashlight will blink three times every 10 minutes, indicating the need for charging.

Charge level indication: the indicator on the functional side button shows the battery status. If the green light is on, it means that the charge is sufficient, 85-100 percent. Green flashes mean that the charge remains at 50-85 percent. If the red light lights up, it means that there is 25 to 50 percent of the charge remaining. Flashing red indicates that the model needs to be charged urgently, since the charge level has dropped below 25 percent.

The flashlight body is made of durable aluminum A6061-T6. The surface of the case is covered with a high-quality anodized coating to prevent scratches. The device is reliably protected from damage, in addition, it is waterproof. The standard of protection against dust and water is IP68. It can easily withstand a fall from a meter height.
