Fenix PD36R Pro Flashlight Description:
Fenix PD36R Pro – an update of the popular Fenix PD36R model, offering increased brightness of 2800 lumens. This is a new generation device, which is designed using the innovative Fenix APF (Advanced Pulse Frequency) technology, which allows you to bypass current limitations without compromising the service life of the electronics and increase the performance of the flashlight.
The heart of the device is the Fenix ARB-L21 battery of the 21700 form factor with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which comes in the basic configuration. The battery can be charged without removing it from the battery compartment – a hidden USB Type-C port is provided for this. The charging cable from the kit is connected to the port, with which the battery is charged from 0% to 100% in 3 hours. The charging process is monitored by a color indicator: red color – the battery is charging, green – the battery is fully charged. The port is under a silicone plug, which prevents debris from getting inside.
The Pro version's housing is made of aluminum and has maximum water protection at the IP68 level. The flashlight withstands prolonged contact with moisture even if the port plug is not tightly closed and does not fail when dropped from a height of 1 meter.
Operating modes
The model is of the tactical type and is designed for police, military and rescuers who need high-quality illumination of individual objects at short and long distances. 5 standard operating modes are adjusted to the user's needs, whether it is night patrolling, normal lighting of the space or spot illumination of a distant object. The auxiliary strobe mode with a brightness of 2500 lumens is designed for signaling at a long distance and blinding the enemy.

For ease of use, the flashlight remembers the last mode used, eliminating the need to select the desired brightness each time.
Control features
Control is implemented using several buttons located at the tail of the case. They have different shapes so that the user does not confuse them in the dark. The round textured (tactical) switch is responsible for instant activation, and the oval (functional) switch is responsible for changing the main modes and accessing the strobe.
On/off
- Half-pressing the tactical button instantly activates the device in the last used mode. To turn it off, simply remove your finger from the button.
- Pressing the tactical button until it clicks turns on the constant lighting in the last used mode. Pressing it again turns off the light.
Mode selection
- Pressing the function switch changes the available brightness modes when constant lighting is activated.
Strobe
- Pressing the function switch activates the flashing mode. To turn off the strobe, release the button.
- To activate the strobe in constant mode, first press the tactical button all the way down, and then press the function switch for 0.5 seconds. Pressing the function button again returns to normal lighting.
Physical parameters
The metal body with a length of 145.8 mm weighs 169 g, including the branded battery. The model fits completely in the palm of your hand and is attached to clothing using a removable steel clip.
