The Fenix PD36TAC flashlight is a tactical device, it will be useful to you in various types of outdoor activities and tourism. The flashlight provides the highest luminous flux of 3000 lumens, and its beam range is 274 meters. The Luminus SST70 LED is used. The service life of such an LED reaches 50 thousand hours. The model comes with a 21700 lithium-ion battery. Control is via a patented dual-function button that provides instant tactical activation.
The modes are divided into two groups: » tactical « and » standby». This allows you to flexibly choose and comfortably control the flashlight. You can select modes literally with one hand, using the switch. In order not to accidentally turn on the flashlight when it is not needed, there is a special locking option.
The PD36TAC is characterized by a tactical button with three functions: light pressing (on, off, mode selection), pressing until it clicks (long operation in « standby» modes), pressing and holding for 0.8 seconds (Strobe). Tactical modes enhance the flashlight with faster control, and also make it easier to select Maximum mode and instant Strobe. Go to » "alternative" modes, to do this, turn the switch. The model has six brightness modes, including the "Strobe" signal. The mechanical button eliminates magnetic interference.

Group of "alternative" modes.
- Turbo. The brightness of the light flux reaches 3000 lumens, the glow time is one and a half hours. The beam range reaches 274 meters. The intensity of the light flux: 18700 candelas.
- Maximum. The brightness of the lighting is 1000 lumens. The duration of operation in this mode is 3 hours and 15 minutes. The beam range is 160 meters. Luminous flux intensity: 6400 candelas.
- Average. Luminous flux-350 lumens. Glow duration is 10 hours 10 minutes. Beam distance is 92 meters. Light intensity: 2100 candelas.
- Minimal. Lighting brightness reaches 150 lumens. In this mode, the flashlight is able to shine for 18 hours 45 minutes. Beam distance is 59 meters. Flux intensity is 900 candelas.
- Eco. Lighting brightness reaches 30 lumens. Operating time in this mode is 160 hours. Beam distance is 25 meters. Lighting intensity is 160 candelas.
- Strobe. Lighting brightness - 2000 lumens.
Group of "tactical" modes.
- Maximum. The luminous flux in this mode is 2000 lumens. Glow time - 3 hours 10 minutes. Beam distance - 225 meters. Lighting intensity: 12600 candelas.
- Strobe. The brightness of the luminous flux is 2000 lumens.
Note: such indicators of the lantern's glow were obtained during a laboratory experiment. The following conditions were used: the temperature was 21 + - 3 degrees Celsius, and the humidity reached about 50-80 percent. The actual operating parameters of the lantern may differ from those given depending on the environmental conditions. The glow time in the "Turbo" mode is indicated in total, the reduction of the mode (overheating protection function) is taken into account.
If you need to lock the model, you must turn the switch to the middle position when it is turned on. This will lock the selected mode and disable the tactical button. When the flashlight is off, you need to turn the switch to the middle position, thereby locking the tactical button and the model will not be able to be used. To unlock, you need to turn the switch to "tactical" modes or" standby", after which the flashlight will be unlocked.
It should be mentioned that the Fenix PD36TAC is protected from overheating of the case. During operation, a large amount of heat accumulates. Therefore, the brightness reduction function has been provided. It is activated by default if the case temperature exceeds 60 degrees Celsius. When the temperature drops, you can choose high modes again.
