The Fenix TK16 V2.0 Tropical Green tactical flashlight, which has joined the brand's long-range model line, is one of the improved versions of the basic Fenix TK16 flashlight with a characteristic difference in the form of a deep green body.

This flashlight has characteristics identical to the V2.0 analogue in classic black. This is a powerful white light capable of illuminating a distance of up to 380 meters at a brightness of 3100 lumens, and an autonomy of operation that reaches 43 hours, and an increased number of modes, which are now as many as 6. The green body is ideally suited to the tone of tactical ammunition and clothing of a professional hunter, so it will find application in these areas.

The Fenix TK16 V2.0 has a built-in Luminus SST 70 LED, which is located under an ultra-transparent lens made of tempered glass. The head of the structure is framed by a steel bezel with tungsten tips. The bezel not only protects the lens from damage, but can also be used as a glass breaker or for self-defense.

The model operates on the basis of the improved APF system, which is a patented Fenix development. The system allows you to bypass the current limitations present in traditional switching systems, and thereby improves the lighting parameters. This option, together with the ability to mount the flashlight on a weapon and its immunity to recoil during shooting, makes the lighting device an ideal assistant for a law enforcement officer.

Operating modes

Among the 6 available operating modes, there are 5 options with constant lighting and a strobe that can instantly blind and disorient the enemy. When you are away from the city, you can use the strobe to signal your location.

Important! The operating time in Turbo mode is calculated from the moment the flashlight is turned on and takes into account the duration of the glow in less bright modes, to which the model switches in 2-3 minutes due to the operation of overheating protection.

Control features

You can control the Fenix TK16 V2.0 with one hand, since all the switches are located in the tail of the structure.

Each switch, tactical and functional, performs separate functions.

• On / off. Flashlight: Pressing the tactical switch activates a momentary light that goes out as soon as the switch is released. Pressing the button all the way down activates a constant light, and pressing it again deactivates the light.
• Mode selection: Pressing the function switch once with the light on changes the modes in the order Eco → Low → Medium → High → Turbo.
• Strobe activation: Pressing the function switch for 0.5 s turns on a flashing strobe. Pressing again returns to the options with constant lighting.

Power source

To operate the flashlight, one 21700 battery is enough, the nominal voltage of which is 3.6 V. A suitable battery (Fenix ARB-L21-5000) is included in the kit and is equipped with a USB Type-C charging port with a color indicator in the anode.

Instead of this battery, another one, Fenix ARB-L21-4000P, can be used.

Physical parameters

The advantages of the Fenix TK16 V2.0 flashlight also include durability, which is achieved thanks to the aluminum body. Anodizing increases the anti-corrosion properties of the metal, and the matte green surface hides fingerprints.

The model is not afraid of either mechanical impact or shocks when falling from a height of 1 meter. Protection against dirt and water reaches the highest level of IP68, and the operating temperature range is from -35°C to +45°C.

The case has dimensions of 143 x 34 x 25.4 mm and weighs 112 grams (without battery). The removable clip ensures a firm fixation of the structure on clothing.

You can increase the functionality of the model using compatible accessories: ALG-00 and ALG-05 mounts, AER-05 remote button, AOF-M light filter, AOT-M signal wand, etc. Auxiliary accessories are purchased separately.
