Description of Roxon Multi Tool SPARK CM1349:
The SPARK CM1349 multitool from the Roxon brand is suitable for use literally every day. But it will be most useful during outdoor recreation, hiking and even survival far from civilization. This is a lightweight and small tool that has 14 different functions. It weighs 226 grams. The length of the folded tool is 10.7 cm with a width of 4.5 cm and a thickness of 2.3 cm. In the working position, its length increases to 16.1 cm. The tool looks very stylish due to the fact that its surface is made black. This coating increases the resistance of the Multi Tool SPARK CM1349 to corrosion, including the effects of acids.
For the manufacture of tools, manufacturers used two types of steel at once: 2Cr13 and 3Cr13. Both alloys are stainless, but differ in hardness. The knife blade is made of softer steel with a hardness of 45-47 HRC. This makes it easier to sharpen it even in the field using a pocket sharpener. For pliers, harder steel up to 55 HRC was chosen. They can handle any nuts or wire.
Tools such as pliers and a knife are made equivalent in this multitool model. The knife blade has a Drop point shape with a sharp tip. There is a small area with a notch on its butt for a more reliable finger rest. The knife opens with a pin. The sharpening of the cutting edge in this model is made smooth, which is the most versatile option. In the open state, the knife is fixed using a Liner lock. This is a reliable lock, which, due to its simple design, is also one of the most durable among modern knife locks.
The pliers are large enough to be able to apply a large load to them. They are complemented by a zone for gripping round objects and pliers. When folded, the pliers are located between two empty handles.
As for other tools, they include a wood saw, a wide sharpened awl with a hole for thread, screwdrivers with a straight and cross-shaped slot, and a can opener. A separate tool is a flint, which can be completely removed from one of the handles of the multitool. The flint has a convenient handle, which also has a built-in whistle.
