Sea to Summit Telos TR2 Plus Two-Person Tent, Fabric Inner, Sil/PeU, Green (STS ATS2040-02170402)

Please note. The previous model Telos TR with a mosquito tent is designed for summer and warm off-season. Telos TR Plus has a body made of dense fabric, withstands the conditions of late autumn and early spring. For more difficult weather, there is Telos TR3 Plus Pro with a Sil-Sil awning (silicone on both sides).  

Technologies, materials, functionality

• High-density Ripstop nylon* — durable, protects against drafts. In a duet with DAC aluminum poles, it can withstand winds up to ~16 m/s.

*15D awning, 20D tent body, 30D bottom.

• Bottom, sides and awning made of Sil-PeU polyester (silicone layer on the outside and polyester polyurethane on the inside).
• Water resistance of the bottom — 1200 mm, awning — 1500 mm. Seams are taped.
• Tension Ridge frame with upward-pointing central arches, almost vertical walls and increased internal space.

The tent is comfortable to sit in, lay down high mats, change clothes, and enter. 

• The Apex Vent system at the top and Baseline Vents along the lower perimeter provide excellent air circulation and prevent condensation. Maintains optimal microclimate inside the tent.
• Adaptation to the weather: on cold, rainy days, cover the tent completely with the awning, on dry and warm days, fold the awning in half or remove it.

Install the awning separately  - in the classic way or as a semi-open canopy (on trekking poles or Hangout Mode poles).

• The structure is easy to assemble. The poles are quick-release and color-coded.
• Three covers instead of one to evenly distribute the weight in the backpack or carry the tent with two/three people.

Fasten large bags inside the tent to have additional pockets. Put a flashlight in the small one (for the pegs) — it will turn out a lamp with diffused light.

How to use and care for your tent 

1. Place it as far away from the fire as possible. Do not use a burner in the tent.
2. On a hard, abrasive surface, place a footprint under the tent to protect it from cuts and punctures.
3. Fix it with pegs and guy ropes regardless of wind strength. Tighten evenly and not too tightly.
4. Shake and dry well (from dew, rain, condensation) before storing in a cover.
5. Regularly inspect for damage and repair immediately (at least temporarily).
6. At home, thoroughly clean it of dirt. First with a soft dry brush, then with a damp sponge.
7. To remove stubborn stains, use a tent and awning cleaner.
8. If necessary, renew the waterproof layer with a special impregnation (for example, Grangers Tent And Gear Repel Spray).
9. You cannot wash the tent in a machine or by hand in hot water with ordinary detergent, bleach, dry in a dryer, or on a battery.
10. Store the tent (absolutely dry!) in a dark, ventilated place, preferably unfolded.
