Horizon 3 by Pinguin — a three-person, three-season tent with a huge vestibule. Budget-friendly, yet high-quality, reliable and functional.

Technologies, materials, functionality

• Inner nylon tent (bedroom) medium dimensions 2.2*2 m, with one entrance. Designed for three people  of average build.
• The entrance to the bedroom is duplicated with an insect screen. Inside there are pockets and other useful details.
• The outer tent turns the Horizon 3 into a spacious tent with two entrances in the center and on the side.
• In the vestibule area of ~3 sq.m.* you can store bulky equipment and bicycles, or arrange an area for relaxation and cooking.

*Length 160 cm, width 220 cm in the wide part and 120 cm in the narrow part.

• The doors to the vestibule can be fully opened and locked to obtain a semi-open ventilated terrace.
• Despite its large size, the tent is easy and quick to set up.
• The frame consists of three fiberglass arches: two crossed in the sleeping area and one arch in the vestibule.

The structure is strong and stable. In combination with storm stays and pegs it resists wind well.

• Polyester awning, with polyurethane coating and taped seams. It has a high water resistance of 8000 mm, withstands heavy, prolonged downpours.

The material does not deteriorate under the influence of ultraviolet light.

• The awning is attached to the tent with strong fastexs with tension adjustment.
• Bottom made of reinforced multilayer polyethylene. Durable, waterproof.
• Two ventilation valves  ensure air circulation and prevent condensation. The holes are leak-proof and can be closed if necessary.

How to use and care for the tent 

1. Place as far away from the fire as possible. Do not use a burner in the tent.
2. On a hard, abrasive surface, place a footprint under the tent to protect against cuts and punctures.
3. Fix with pegs and guy ropes regardless of wind strength. Tighten evenly and not too tightly.
4. Shake and dry thoroughly (from dew, rain, condensation) before storing in a cover.
5. Regularly inspect for damage and repair immediately (at least temporarily).
6. At home, thoroughly clean from dirt. First with a soft dry brush, then with a damp sponge.
7. To remove stubborn stains, use a tent and awning cleaner.
8. If necessary, renew the waterproof layer with a special impregnation (for example, Grangers Tent And Gear Repel Spray).
9. Do not machine wash or hand wash the tent in hot water with regular detergent, bleach, tumble dry, or use a battery.
10. Store the tent (absolutely dry!) in a dark, ventilated place, preferably unfolded.
