Pinguin Campus 3 Dural Camping Tent

This spacious three-person tent from the Czech brand Pinguin is a copy of the Campus 3 model, but instead of plastic ones, it has duralumin poles. It is designed for comfortable camping in the warm season.

The model is two-layer, consists of an inner tent-bedroom measuring 220 cm by 205 cm and an outer tent measuring 235 cm wide and 370 cm long. The bedroom can accommodate a maximum of 3 people, and the vestibule has enough space for things, camping furniture, a bicycle, a kayak or other equipment.

The poles are threaded into special "pockets" on the outside of the tent, and the inner tent is hung from the inside to the tent. This is convenient because by attaching the inner part to the awning, you can leave it on when packing the tent in the cover and then you won't have to re-fasten it when re-installing it.

Pinguin also offers other models of camping tents in the Campus series: the 4-person Campus 4 and the Campus 4 Dural; for 5 people Campus 5 and Campus 5 Dural.

Features of the Campus 3 Dural tent:

• The inner sleeping tent has 1 entrance, the outer tent has 2 entrances;
• It is fixed with pegs and stretchers;
• 5 ventilation holes, each of which is covered so that there is no leakage in the rain in strong winds;
• The materials of the bottom and tent have a polyurethane coating to protect against getting wet
• The fabrics also have impregnation that protects against ultraviolet rays;
• The seams are taped with waterproof tape.

How to use and care for the tent 

1. Put it as far away from the fire as possible. Do not use a torch in a tent.
2. On a hard, abrasive surface, place a footprint under the tent to protect against cuts and punctures.
3. Fix with pegs and guy ropes regardless of wind strength. Tighten evenly and not too tightly.
4. Shake and dry well (from dew, rain, condensation) before storing in a cover.
5. Regularly inspect for damage and repair immediately (at least temporarily).
6. At home, thoroughly clean from dirt. First with a soft dry brush, then with a damp sponge.
7. To remove stubborn stains, use a tent and awning cleaner.
8. If necessary, renew the waterproof layer with a special impregnation (for example, Grangers Tent And Gear Repel Spray).
9. Do not machine wash or hand wash the tent in hot water with regular detergent, bleach, tumble dry, or use a battery.
10. Store the tent (absolutely dry!) in a dark, ventilated place, preferably unfolded.
