Description of the Ganzo G729-GY knife, gray:
The stylish and functional Ganzo G729-GY knife has a similar design to the Spyderco model and is the embodiment of a reliable blade for everyday use that is not afraid of difficult work. The model is based on proven materials, including chrome-plated 440C steel and high-strength G10 inserts, which make the knife a universal tool.
The main thing is the knife blade made of 440C steel, which is a stainless type and is popular due to its high technical characteristics. The high percentage of chromium in the steel makes the blade resistant to corrosion and chipping under intense loads. The blade hardness of 58 HRC guarantees long-term sharpness of the cutting edge and requires minimal effort to sharpen the tool, which can be done using a conventional whetstone in the field. The blade is easy to care for: just wipe it after use and store in a dry place.
The blade is locked using a Axis Lock with a spring-loaded pin. The lock ensures the safety of the tool during use and firmly fixes the product in the closed state so that the user does not injure his hand while carrying the blade in his pocket. Ganzo G729-GY is operated with one hand and is suitable for both right- and left-handed people. A wide teardrop-shaped hole in the blade is used to open the knife.
The handle of this knife is made using textured overlays made of G10 composite. This is a fiberglass popular in knife production, which has a number of useful properties: impact resistance, resistance to moisture and aggressive environments, resistance to temperature extremes and long-term preservation of its original shape and color. The handle has a functional addition in the form of a metal clip that fixes the product on clothing, and holes for a lanyard.
