Special equipment is required to properly transport victims. The speed of transporting people with serious injuries depends on the quality and ergonomics of the stretcher.
Characteristics:
Medical stretchers are suitable for use in extreme conditions. Therefore, the characteristics are designed for high loads:
- material - dense polyester fiber;
- withstands weight up to 160 kg;
- mounting for a car stretcher;
- frame weight 7 kg;
Sanitary stretchers are used:
- by ambulance crews to carry victims at the pre-hospital stage;
- in the disaster medicine service;
- sports grounds;
- places of hostilities.
Necessary for evacuation, transportation of people with spinal injuries, complex fractures. As well as other injuries, in which improper transfer of the patient worsens the condition.
Advantages:
- tough fiber is resistant to tearing, does not stretch;
- transparent for X-rays, the victim does not need to be removed to take a picture;
- bright color - the medical team is easy to notice during transportation and evacuation;
- reliable fixation of the patient;
- low weight of the frame.
