Glasses with the APEL stamp US Army Authorized Protective Eyewear List (APEL) - a list of protective eyewear approved for use in the US Army. This list was created to determine which uniforms can be used by soldiers.
Once you try on the Crossbow® series protective eyewear, you will understand that they are unlike any other ballistic eyewear you have ever encountered. Incorporating all the advanced technologies in the field of manufacturing protective optics, they are rightfully considered one of the best models of ballistic eyewear of the ESS® trademark and in the whole world.
The frame of the "ESS Crossbow" safety eyewear has a patented Tri-Tech Fit ™ system, which fixes the glasses on the head at three points, thereby reducing the pressure on the head to almost zero. Next, you should be pleased with the lenses. They do not fog up. This is helped by the ClearZone ™ lens coating FlowCoat, which is applied to prevent scratches and fogging of the lenses. When viewing objects through ESSOptics ™ lenses, you will notice that they are distortion-free and objects have a crystal clear outline. The lens is attached to the frame using the DedBolt ™ Lens Lock system, which securely fixes the lenses and allows you to quickly change them.
As part of the ESS Cross-Series ™ series, all Crossbow® components are compatible and interchangeable with the ESS Crosshair ™ and ESS Suppressor ™ series. For example, you can upgrade your Crosshair ™ glasses with anti-fog Crossbow® lenses or combine them with an ultra-thin frame from the Suppressor ™ series.
