The Kiborg GU gen.2 plate carrier with ballistic protection and armor plates is a new generation of individual armor protection plate carrier in the Kiborg GU (Glory to Ukraine) line. Compatible with standard 25x30 armor plates with beveled upper corners (metal or ceramic up to 30 mm thick).
The set consists of:
- Kiborg GU gen.2 Multicam plate carrier;
- Ballistic plates (set of 2 pcs.) NIJ IV (6th class of DSTU)
- Ballistic package (set of 2 pcs.) Militex for protecting the abdomen/lower back and camber bands 30.5*13.5 (1st class of protection)
The plate carrier is equipped with a removable front Molle panel, which is attached with Velcro and two Woojin carabiners. The panel conveniently accommodates 3 pouches for magazines or other Molle-compatible equipment. The panel can be quickly replaced with another one with the necessary set of pouches.
In the upper part above the flap there is a Laser Cut Molle Velcro panel for patches or Molle-compatible equipment, such as an administrative pouch or a phone mount. There is also a small compartment with a moisture-proof zipper for storing small items.
All Molle elements and nodes that are exposed to the greatest loads are reinforced with zigzag seams with Tytan threads, which guarantees strength and durability.
Double quick release system in the shoulder and waist area allows you to remove the plate carrier in a matter of seconds by pulling the paracord. This ensures quick donning and ease of use.
Materials and coatings - main fabric - Cordura Nylon 6.6 1000D 380 g/m² with NIR impregnation to reduce visibility in night vision devices. Has a double polyurethane coating to protect against moisture and lubricants, does not support combustion, does not wear out and does not fade in the sun.
The inside of the plate carrier is equipped with damper inserts and lined with 3D mesh 3 mm thick, which provides shock absorption and proper air circulation.
The shoulder straps ergonomically follow the contours of the body, have a soft damper and 3D mesh for comfortable load distribution. The camber bands are removable, have soft dampers divided into five parts for better flexibility and air circulation. The fastening of the camber bands using Velcro panels provides quick and convenient size adjustment.
Additional equipment options: The front part of the plate carrier has four rows of Molle and a Velcro panel for attaching equipment and ID patches. On the bottom of the plate carrier there are two D-rings for additional equipment.
The Kiborg GU gen.2 plate carrier blends with the user's body, does not constrain movements and provides effective protection in difficult tactical conditions. It is ideal for those who need convenient and reliable armor protection in extreme situations.
