Kiborg GU gen.2+ plate carrier removable panel with 3 pouches for 1 multicam magazine is a new generation of individual body armor in the Kiborg GU (Glory to Ukraine) line. Compatible with standard 25x30 armor plates with beveled upper corners (metal or ceramic up to 30 mm thick).
The set consists of:
- Removable front panel for the plate carrier with pouches for 3 magazines;
- Kiborg GU gen.2 Multicam plate carrier;
The plate carrier is equipped with a removable front Molle panel, which is attached to the base with Velcro and additionally with two Woojin carabiners. It conveniently accommodates 3 pouches for 1 or two magazines or other Molle-compatible equipment. This panel can be quickly replaced with another one with a pre-glued set of the necessary pouches.
In the upper part above the flap there is a reinforced Laser Cut Molle Velcro panel, which will allow you to place not only your favorite patches, but also Molle-compatible equipment, such as an administrative pouch or a phone mount, and a small administrative compartment (pocket) on a moisture-proof zipper with a convenient puller for storing small flat items, such as ID cards, keys, a lighter, etc.
All elements of the Molle system and nodes that bear the greatest load are reinforced, sewn with Tytan zigzag seams on a special fastening machine, which guarantees the strength and durability of such seams.
The double quick-release system in the shoulder and waist bands area allows you to drop the plate carrier in a matter of seconds by simply pulling the paracord. Thanks to the quick-release fasteners, the plate carrier is put on quickly and conveniently.
The main fabric is Cordura Nylon 6.6 1000D 380g/m² with NIR impregnation, which makes the product less visible in night vision devices. It has a double polyurethane coating to protect against moisture and lubricants, does not support combustion, does not wear out, does not fade in the sun, retains its properties for a long time in extreme operating conditions.
The inner parts of the plate carrier have four damper inserts lined with 3D mesh 3 mm thick, which provides shock absorption and proper air circulation.
The upper ergonomic shoulder straps with a soft damper and 3D mesh organically follow the contours of the body, correctly distribute the load and do not put much pressure on the shoulders. The straps have a length adjustment system (size), full Molle slings for attaching additional pouches, most often a tourniquet or walkie-talkie, and additional attachments for a hydrator tube. Soft cushions completely cover the quick-release plastic buckles, which prevents chafing while wearing.
The camberbands are completely removable, the soft dampers are covered with 3D mesh. The dampers are not solid, but divided into five parts for greater flexibility of the camberband itself and better air circulation. The camberbands are attached to the plate carrier on both sides using large Velcro panels, which provides the possibility of quick and convenient size (volume) adjustment. On the back of the camberbands there are inserts in the form of a double 100mm elastic band for additional elasticity.
The camberbands have 3 rows of Molle slings for attaching pouches and pockets for ballistic bags: a ballistic bag of the 1st or 2nd class from the Militex company, which can be purchased from us together with the plate carrier.
The front part of the plate carrier has four rows of Molle straps and a Velcro panel with Laser Cut Molle reinforced from the inside with a sling for Molle-compatible equipment and ID patches and an evacuation handle, which in the stowed position is fixed to the back with Velcro panels.
At the bottom of the plate carrier, 2 D-rings have been added on the front and back for attaching additional equipment.
The Kiborg GU gen.2 plate carrier is not just convenient - it seems to merge with your body and does not interfere with effectively solving any tactical task.
