Description of the Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 AO, 1", AMX reticle:
The Airmax 3-9 40 optical sight is designed for installation on airguns used in sports shooting. The body is made of durable aluminum alloy. Full multilayer optics (16 layers) guarantees a clear and contrast image. The lens has an internal thread for installing hoods and other accessories. The AMX reticle engraved on glass is specially designed for the needs of airgun owners. This is an improved version of the Mil Dot reticle with additional horizontal sections, which contribute to more accurate aiming at long distances. At less than 10x magnification, linear and angular dimensions are determined by interpolation or special tables.The inside of the sight is filled with nitrogen, which prevents moisture condensation on the surface of the lenses during temperature changes. For convenient corrections, low-profile drums with a mechanism for fixing the initial point of corrections are provided. The parallax adjustment ring is located on the sight lens.
