Description of the Hawke Vantage 4x32 Mil Dot reticle, 1":
Mil Dot is rightfully considered the most versatile reticle. The dimensions of all its elements (both points and gaps) are strictly regulated, so it is easy to estimate distances and linear dimensions with its help. Mil Dot data is accurate at 10x magnification. At other magnifications, you will have to use a ballistic calculator or tables for calculations. The waterproof, shock-resistant body of the sight is made of aluminum alloy. Nitrogen filling prevents moisture condensation on the surface of the lenses during temperature changes. Full multilayer optics (11 layers) guarantees a clear and contrast image.The sights have a factory preset parallax setting of 100 yards. For quick focusing on the target, the eyepiece has a Fast Focus focusing system.
Low-profile drums for introducing corrections vertically and horizontally are equipped with a special beryllium spring that prevents the reticle from "moving away" when firing. The drums have a click value of 1/4 MOA and are covered with low aluminum covers.
