Vortex Spitfire HD Gen II Scope Description
Vortex SpitFire prismatic scopes are designed specifically for use with AR-platform rifles. The excellent image and lack of parallax allow the shooter to easily find and hold the target, while the prism design and etched reticle solve distortion problems for users suffering from astigmatism.
In the new, more compact SPITFIRE HD GEN II model, the HD optical system is optimized to provide exceptional resolution, reduced chromatic aberrations, excellent sharpness across the entire field of view and high light transmission.
The brightness adjustment of the aiming dot has 12 levels, 2 of which are designed to work with night vision devices.
The AR-BDC4 reticle is designed to make the most of the 5.56 cartridge with AR-platform carbines, providing both quick target acquisition and a graduated scale for horizontal corrections at distances up to 594 meters.
Waterproof O-rings prevent moisture, dust and debris from entering the device, ensuring its reliable operation in any conditions. Nitrogen filling prevents internal fogging of the lenses during temperature changes.
The matte black anodized coating of the housing has an anti-reflective effect and guarantees corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the product.
It is possible to install the sight on a low (HV - 27 mm) and high (HV - 40 mm) riser.
The Spitfire HD Gen II 5x model has an MRDS (Micro Red Dot Sights) mount on top for use with Vortex Viper or Venom open red dot sights.
