Konus ABSOLUTE 5-40x56 ED - is a universal optical sight with a wide magnification range and a large objective diameter. The optical design of the sight uses low-dispersion glass (ED - Extra-low-dispersion glass), which, together with fully multi-coated optics, allows you to achieve high image quality with minimal optical distortion even at maximum magnification. This feature distinguishes this sight from the entire line of Konus sights and brings it to the top level.
The sight body is made of a solid tube with a diameter of 30 mm. It is completely sealed, gas-filled and capable of withstanding the recoil of large-caliber weapons with bullet energy up to 6000 J (.375 H&H). The reticle is located in the 2nd focal plane and is a modified Mil-Dot with additional half-mils (1/2 Mil-Dot). The reticle illumination has 2 colors (blue and red) and 5 intensity levels for each color. Tactical correction drums in MRAD provide easier calculation of the click price (1/10 MRAD) at distances and have the ability to zero. Parallax adjustment is provided by a side turret combined with an illumination adjustment ring.
