Konus KONUSPRO 6-24x44 MIL-DOT AO – a serious varmint riflescope at a more than fair price. Its budget price is determined not by a lack of quality, but by the appearance of more advanced models in the KONUSPRO line – for example, KONUSPRO-PLUS 6-24x50.
The Ø 44 mm objective lens provides sufficient light output for night hunting in open space. Experienced hunters go out with the KONUSPRO 6-24x44 MIL-DOT AO on steppe predators even with a partial moon (from 1/2 of the lunar disk in the absence of clouds). The lens system made of high-quality optical glass with FMC illumination forms a sharp image at any magnification from 6 to 24x.
The Mil-DOT reticle is engraved on the inner lens in the second focal plane. It remains equally thin at any magnification and does not shift during recoil. Correct Mil-DOT at a magnification of 10x. Parallax adjustment in this model is carried out on the objective frame (AO - Adjustable Objective). The correction mechanism provides extremely precise correction of the bullet trajectory: the turret division value - 1/8 MOA.
The metal tube of the sight is carefully sealed and filled with nitrogen. The housing reliably protects the optics from fogging, moisture ingress and damage when firing calibers up to .308. According to reviews, the impact resistance of this model is much greater than stated: during test firings of 40-50 rounds of .50 caliber, the recoil did not damage the optical system and did not shift the mechanical settings of the sight.
