Description Optical sight Hawke Vantage 30 WA 1-8x24 Tactical BDC reticle - 5.56 with illumination
The Vantage 30 WA 1-8 24 optical sight is designed for use at close and medium distances, is perfect for weapons on the AR platform. The wide-angle (WA) optical system provides a wide field of view (38.3 m at 100 m) at a minimum magnification.
All Vantage optical sights are equipped with H2 optics. Full multi-layer illumination of the optics (11 layers) guarantees a clear and contrast image.
The waterproof shock-resistant housing is made of aluminum alloy. The diameter of the central tube is 30 mm. Nitrogen filling prevents moisture condensation on the lens surface during temperature changes.
The scope is equipped with low-profile drums for convenient adjustment. The lens has an internal thread for attaching hoods and other accessories. A removable lever for quick focusing is included.
The glass-engraved Tactical BDC 5.56 reticle is located in the second focal plane and has five levels of backlight brightness (red/green).
The Tactical BDC (bullet drop compensation) 5.56 reticle, exclusively developed by Hawke, provides effective aiming from weapons on the AR platform. For .223/5.56 and .308 Win cartridges, zero can be set at a distance of 50 yards (46 m), which provides high accuracy at distances up to 200 yards (183 m). For best accuracy and proper use of the BDC, zero should be confirmed at 200 yards. The BDC will then display aiming points in 100 yard (91 m) increments out to 600 yards (549 m).
The scope is designed to withstand recoil from common hunting calibers up to .338 Lapua Magnum.
