Plastic (polymer) machine gun belt for Kalashnikov machine guns 7.62 x 54 mm (PK, PKM, PKT, etc.) and Goryunov (SG-43, SGM).
The kit includes 500 links.
The weight of the belt for 500 links (without cartridges) is 0.9 kg
The belt consists of separate links made of plastic. Each link has three rings connected by a jumper. The links are hingedly connected to the belt by cartridges inserted into the combined rings. Disposable tape, the manufacturer guarantees the tape's performance only once.
The special design of the links made it possible to provide the cartridge clamping force, which ensures reliable extraction when loading the machine gun, strong hold when carrying, the necessary flexibility, and no delays when firing.
Advantages of the tape compared to the existing tape:
The tape is three times lighter than metal tape,
is not afraid of corrosion,
is much cheaper to manufacture, and therefore also in cost for buyers,
convenient in modern mobile combat: the fired part of the tape does not prevent the machine gunner from moving on the battlefield, because the links are immediately removed from the machine gun.
