Description of the Fenix AOT-S+ signal baton:
The AOT-S+ signal baton was developed by Fenix for use in emergency situations when it is necessary to give bright and visible light signals to other people. This accessory is fixed on the head of the flashlight, transforming the directional white beam into diffused red light, which is visible at a great distance even during rain or fog.
The list of flashlights compatible with the light filter is quite large, in particular, it can be used with LED models from 3 series of the brand.
- E Series: E28R, E35, V3.0, etc.;
- LD Series: LD30, PD32 V2.0, etc.;
- PD Series: PD32 V2.0, PD36R, PD36R PRO, PD36 TAC, etc.
The main requirement: the diameter of the flashlight head must be at least 25.4 mm, but not more than 26.5 mm.
The rod is made of polycarbonate (PC), which belongs to structural engineering plastics. The material has high rigidity and resistance to mechanical damage, and is also not afraid of prolonged exposure to oil and acid solutions, low and high temperatures in the range from -60 C to 120 C.
The length of the Fenix AOT-S+ nozzle is 180 mm, and the diameter is 28 mm. The wand is securely attached to the flashlight with a characteristic click. The quality of fixation does not weaken over a long period of operation due to the material's resistance to deformation. The accessory weighs only 25.6 grams.
