Universal Military Poncho with Thermal Imaging Protection Gen 2 – an improved version of the protective cloak, which provides better protection against thermal imaging thanks to an improved design and additional materials.
Characteristics:
- Size: universal (one size)
- Color: cartoon, pixel, olive, winter white
- Material: Oxford 180 (outer layer), Oxford 80 (lining), foil fabric
Three-layer construction:
- Outer layer: Oxford 180 – durable, waterproof material.
- Middle layer: foil fabric for masking in thermal imaging devices.
- Inner layer: Oxford 80 + additional thin padding that holds the air cushion for continued protection.
Features:
- Increased dimensions – longer and wider compared to the previous version.
- Longer protection from the thermal imager – due to increased space between the layers and retention of the air cushion.
- Padded areas on the shoulders, chest and back for comfort.
- Ventilation holes for improved escape of warm air.
- Viewing visor – removable, with Velcro fasteners.
- Cover with straps included for easy transportation.
- Waterproof - protection from rain and moisture.
Passed military tests in various conditions.
Tested on the AGM Sidewinder TM50-640 device in all filters.
This is not an invisibility poncho. There is no complete camouflage, but the protection is significantly increased.
