The Kiborg shoulder protector with a Class 2 ballistic package from Militex is an innovative piece of tactical equipment designed to increase the level of protection of a fighter. The compact module provides anti-fragmentation protection of the biceps, shoulder joint and arteries, significantly increasing the area of body protection.
The weight of the kit is 1.2 kg.
This shoulder protector integrates perfectly with Kiborg body armor thanks to the Velcro panel and the fastening system based on a plastic frame from the Japanese manufacturer WJ. The height of the fastening is adjusted by a vertical sling, and the volume is adjusted by a special horizontal sling with a drawstring.
The basis of the design is made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene UHMWPE , which guarantees reliable protection against bullets, fragments and small ricochets. Synthetic non-woven material (Kevlar) is used as an additional damper, which minimizes non-obstructive injuries.
The cover is made of Cordura 1000d , a waterproof nylon with a thermoplastic polyurethane coating and ultrasonic sealing for maximum protection against moisture.
We also test our Class 2 ballistic packages according to international NATO STANAG V-50 standards, where the penetration rate is exactly +-733 m/s. In addition to bullets and fragments specified in DSTU and STANAG, it protects against small fragments and secondary impact elements.
The composition of the armor package fully complies with the 2nd protection class of DSTU 8782:2018 “Personal protective equipment. Body armor.” Its thoughtful anatomical design and high quality materials make this accessory an ideal addition to the tactical kit from the Kiborg company.
The protection is presented in the following colors: cartoon, khaki, pixel, coyote, cartoon original USA.
