Effective neck and shoulder protection from Kiborg and Militex. The product does not interfere with working with weapons in various positions, in particular, in a helmet in a lying position.
Design features: the kit consists of three modules: the front part of the collar, two side parts of the collar connected to the main part (gorge). The front part of the collar, reinforced with a plastic insert for better shape retention, is connected to the side collar by inserting one into the other and the gorget, using a flexible and soft removable structure for quick removal. The advantage of such a fastening is that it allows you to quickly remove the front part of the protection in one movement. The main part is connected to each other from the front using the same structure to which the front part of the collar is attached. Thanks to the insert made of elastic tape 100 mm wide, it is possible to remove the protection without unbuttoning it. Such fastening gives a tighter fit to the body without loading it.
The attachment to the body armor is organized using movable Velcro fasteners at the front and back. The attachment to the shoulder straps is arranged using interlacing of belt straps and a rigid fastener insert. The insert is prevented from slipping by recesses and Kappa-61 type buttons. The fastener insert is sealed with flexible plastic, which allows for a more even weight distribution.
The entire structure is fixed to the plate carrier, effectively covering the neck area from the front, sides and back. Automatic adjustment with Velcro allows you to take the desired anatomical shape of the modules under protection. The shape of the entire module is designed to minimize the side openings between the plate carrier and the neck protection. The upper part of the neck to the body is sewn with a soft Velcro fabric to reduce friction between the fabric and the operator's neck.
Soft ballistic protection that comes with the kit:
- Ultra-high-density polyethylene (UHMWPE), considered the best choice for ballistic protection and characterized by the most stable quality.
- Synthetic non-woven material (Kevlar) as an additional damper that reduces extra-obstructive trauma;
- Cover made of high-quality waterproof fabric - 100% nylon 170g/m2 with thermoplastic polyurethane coating. Sealing - ultrasound.
Ballistic properties of MILITEX armor packages, withstood shooting:
A sample of a soft ballistic package withstood a shot with a 7.62×25 mm bullet with a steel non-heat-strengthened core in a steel jacket clad with tompak, a pistol cartridge 57-N-134s (TT pistol) in accordance with the requirements of Table 1, Clause 6.1.2 (under normal operating conditions), 7.1.1 of DSTU 8782:2018 “Personal protective equipment. Body armor. Classification. General technical conditions. Amendment No. 1” for protection class 2.
We also test our Class 2 ballistic packages according to international NATO STANAG V-50 standards, where the penetration rate is exactly +-733 m/s. In addition to bullets and fragments specified in DSTU and STANAG, it protects against small fragments and secondary impact elements.
Production features:
- The neck protector is equipped with 3 mm Spirit damping material and 8 mm Polyfoam for additional cushioning.
- Precise laser cutting of ballistic materials with edge sealing;
- Ultrasonic sealing of the cover;
- Possibility of manufacturing packages in individual sizes.

- Cordura 1000d with NIR coating and polyurethane impregnation;
- Sling 100% Polyamide (non-flammable)
- The fabric does not glow in the dark, does not fade in bright sunlight, the product does not lose its strength even with prolonged intensive use, and does not pass moisture and lubricants;
- Velcro
- The product is sewn with reinforced Tytan threads.
Ballistic bags are made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. This material is the best for ballistic protection and has the most stable quality, synthetic non-woven material (Kevlar) as an additional damper, which reduces extra-barrier trauma
